Examining the Link Between Precipitation Systems and Atmospheric Rivers

BAERI’s Ju-Mee Ryoo and a team of research scientists used 10 years of Global Precipitation Management data to investigate how precipitation systems are linked to Atmospheric rivers. Their findings, described in Geophysical Research Letters, can lead to improvement in the predictions of extreme rainfall.
