Happy 30th birthday, BAERI!

On March 26th, 1993, our founder Robert Bergstrom signed the official paperwork to create the Bay Area Environmental Research Institute. We’ll be celebrating BAERI’s 30th anniversary with 30 stories that highlight some of the most impactful work the Institute has supported between 1993 and today: you’ll read about everything from an iPad game that’s helping map the world’s coral reefs, to a collaborative supercomputing platform for Earth systems modeling, to techniques for understanding the atmospheres of exoplanets.
