NASA’s Student Science Activation Program completes first summer of student research

An article highlighting the students of SaSa (NASA’s Student Science Activation Program) was published to the NASA Earth Expeditions blog last week. SaSa is a new NASA program at work to diversify the field of geoscience by engaging rising sophomore undergraduate students from minority serving institutions in an 8-week hands-on summer internship. This summer’s internship took place at NASA’s Wallops Flight Facility in July of this year.
